What's new in XWiki

The OpenID Connect extension 2.21.0 has been released. The token authenticator is now in its own extension. This allows installing the Token Authenticator without the OpenID Connect provider. This version also introduces support for static registration of clients. But we also decided to move to static registration by default, which is a breaking change. In practice, it means that as soon as you upgrade the provider, it will reject all clients. To fix that you will need to either register them (recommended, from security point of view), or switch back to dynamic registration mode, in new OpenID Connect administration.

The Favorites Application Extension 1.0.5 have been released.

The Inline Table for LiveData Extension 1.0.5 have been released.

The Documentation Extension 1.13.2 have been released.

Cristal 1.3.0 is now released. This is a bug fix release that brings mainly some accessibility fixes and dependency upgrades. See the release notes for more details.

Introducing the new Synthetic Data Generator extension. Its goal is to make easier to add test data to an instance. It's designed to be easy to install in any context, so while it's possible to install it like any extension, you can also import it as XAR or just copy/paste its single page content as is. The current version allows generating users and pages based on requested numbers. See SyntheticDataGenerator for more details.
